This webinar is for folks wanting to learn more about incorporating edibles into your home rain garden and the benefits they provide to combat pollution in our local waterways. At this webinar you will learn:
- how edible rain gardens offer a green solution to stormwater pollution,
- tips on how to grow an edible rain garden in the PNW, and
- local financial and building resources to help you get started.
You’ll have a chance to ask questions with RainWise program staff and local gardening experts.
In selected areas of Seattle, the City of Seattle and King County will pay up to 100 percent of the cost of installing rain gardens and cisterns on homeowners’ properties through the RainWise program. Check your eligibility for RainWise at https://700milliongallons.org/rainwise/eligibility. Not eligible? No problem! We will provide resources in this webinar for those not eligible as well.
