Bob went through the RainWise program in 2018 by working with RainWise contractor, HomeGrown Organics. Originally, he had a fish pond with a pump, but it was too much to maintain and kept getting clogged with leaves and invaded by raccoons. He got rid of the pond and what was left was a pit in the ground. He heard about the program from a neighbor, learned more at a workshop, then went online to find a contractor. HomeGrown installed a rain garden with edibles, such as blueberries and strawberries, for Bob to enjoy.
