Dirt Corps
Duwamish Infrastructure Restoration Training (DIRT Corps), working in partnership with Aster Rosa Ecology and Design, offers customers rain garden and cistern design and construction services, as well as maintenance. DIRT Corps is a Green Infrastructure job training program for young adult workers, specifically encouraging women, people of color, and Veterans to join our crew. Ecology, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, rain garden and cistern design/build are the core of our hands-on training program. All installations are done with expert oversight from Roseann Barnhill of Aster Rosa Ecology and Design, Michael Lewis of Inkwell Collective, and Cari Simson of Urban Systems Design LLC.
