Delridge Natural Drainage Project in West Seattle

"The natural drainage system here has 16 blocks of bioretention swales that drain to underground injection control wells to manage runoff from 5.7 acres."

SPU is using funding from a 2018 King County WaterWorks Grant to evaluate the underground injection control wells’ performance and the need for operations and maintenance on both this project and the Venema project. This work includes video inspections, controlled injection rate capacity testing, and water level monitoring, in addition to analyzing data and compiling a summary report.
