DESCRIPTION:Register at https://bit.ly/june3rw.\nLearn how RainWise rebates for rain gardens and cisterns combat pollution!\nWith every storm\, rain carries pollutants off our roofs\, driveways\, and other hard surfaces to local creeks\, Lake Washington\, and Puget Sound. Rain gardens and cisterns can help control this stormwater\, but we need your help! In selected areas of Seattle\, the City of Seattle and King County will pay up to 100 percent of the cost of installing rain gardens and cisterns on homeowners’ properties.\n\nThis webinar is for homeowners in RainWise-eligible basins throughout Seattle who are interested in learning more about the RainWise program and rebates. At this webinar\, you will learn:\n\n• about the stormwater problem\,\n• about the solutions we’re using to solve it\, and\n• how you can help and get a rebate of up to 100% of the cost of cisterns and/or rain gardens.\n\nWe’ll cover the rebate process\, and how to select a contractor\, and you’ll have a chance to ask questions with Program staff and inspectors. After the presentation\, you will meet with different RainWise contractors and have the chance to ask questions specific to your homes. Treat this time as your initial consultations with contractors as you figure out who specifically you may want to work with on your RainWise project.\n\nWe recommend that you check your eligibility for a RainWise rebate in advance at our eligibility page.\n\n
