SUMMARY:How to Get RainWise Information Session
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an in-person information session and get all your questions answered!\n\n\n\nYou will learn about the RainWise program and how to apply to get a cistern and/or rain garden rebate. \n\n\n\nRainWise rebates combat pollution! With every storm\, rain carries pollutants off our roofs\, driveways\, and other hard surfaces to local creeks\, Lake Washington\, and Puget Sound. Rain gardens and cisterns can help control this stormwater\, but we need your help! In selected areas of Seattle\, the City of Seattle and King County will pay up to 100 percent of the cost of installing rain gardens and cisterns on homeowners’ properties. \n\n\n\nThis in-person info session is for homeowners in RainWise-eligible basins throughout Seattle who are interested in learning more about the RainWise program and rebates. At this info session\, you will learn: \n\n\n\n\nabout the stormwater problem\,\n\n\n\nabout the solutions we’re using to solve it\, and\n\n\n\nhow you can help and get a rebate of up to 100% of the cost of cisterns and/or rain gardens.\n\n\n\n\nWe’ll cover the rebate process\, and how to select a contractor. You’ll have a chance to ask questions to Program staff\, hear from a fellow RainWise homeowner\, and possibly chat with RainWise contractors about your future project!
